Rebuilt Case Studies Got This Firm Noticed and Shared in a Tech Partner Ecosystem
Quandary Consulting Group’s case studies weren’t driving sales or partner visibility. Practical Revenue rebuilt them for how buyers decide and partners share proof in complex sales. The results boosted visibility across the ecosystem and triggered a full-library rebuild.
Results Snapshot
- Shared by partner AEs across all channels
- Replaced bloated PDFs with shareable assets
- Embedded case studies into active deal cycles
- Helped teams define case-study-worthy work
- Led to full case study library rebuild
The Challenge: Ineffective Existing Proof
Quandary Consulting Group had case studies. But they weren’t showing up in sales cycles or being shared by Quickbase partner AEs.
The content was strong, but the format held it back. Long-form PDFs and storytelling structures didn’t match how today’s buyers make decisions in complex sales, so they didn’t get used.
They weren’t wrong. Just built for a different era.
Meanwhile, partner ecosystems grew more competitive. Budgets tightened. AI added noise.
To stay visible, Quandary needed case studies that worked as sales assets—not content marketing. They saw that without change, their best work risked going unnoticed.
Before working with Practical Revenue, our sales and marketing materials were clunky, outdated, and honestly just not being used. We were putting out these long, 5-page PDFs that no one wanted to read, let alone share. These assets weren’t helping the team sell or tell our story.
Our Solution: Make Proof Easy to Use and Hard to Ignore
Practical Revenue rebuilt Quandary’s case studies to support how buyers make decisions and how partners share proof.
Instead of adding more content, we reworked what existed. Each story was trimmed, refocused, and rewritten to hit three decision points: why act, what’s at stake, and what changed. The updated structure made wins easier to find and harder to ignore.
We also redesigned the overview page to replace the wall of tiles and stock imagery with a format that sparked curiosity, encouraged clicks, and made it easier to explore Quandary’s full body of work.
To support sales distribution, we replaced the 5–7 page PDFs with concise one-sheeters that gave champions and partners an effective asset they could forward.
Our Process: Fast, Surgical Updates
We worked independently alongside Quandary’s internal teams, making steady progress without disrupting priorities or requiring client re-approvals.
- Redesigned the overview page to replace a static tile layout with a format that encouraged exploration and made the full library easier to share
- Reworked the case studies by cutting ~25% of content, removing filler, and structuring around urgency, risk, and buyer outcomes
- Preserved approved messaging through surgical edits that improved clarity without triggering client re-approvals
- Collaborated with the design team to refine layout and readability through structured feedback across multiple QA rounds
- Created sales-ready assets including one-sheeters and deck slides aligned to common stakeholder conversations
- Enabled internal adoption by equipping the sales team with clear usage guidance and examples for each asset
- Reinforced partner visibility by building distribution workflows to keep case studies top-of-mind across Quickbase sellers and internal teams
Roadblocks: Pre-Approved Copy and Zero Design Bandwidth
Several of Quandary’s case studies had already been approved by clients. That meant no new claims, revised phrasing, or opportunity to reopen the review process. We had to make precise edits, sharpening each story without changing its meaning.
The internal design team had limited capacity and competing priorities. We worked within those boundaries, providing structured layout and hierarchy feedback across QA rounds to improve clarity for skimmers, champions, and technical readers.
Every change had to land cleanly and quickly. We led the project with minimal disruption, kept the team informed, and handled execution without pulling them into task lists or approvals.
We’ve worked with Practical Revenue on other projects over the years, and they’ve never failed to deliver. Their team brings real expertise, a no-nonsense approach, and they’re not afraid to say the hard thing if it means getting the work done right.
The Results: Proof Teams Use
The updated case studies drove a shift in engagement and behavior.
Quickbase partner AEs began sharing them across internal channels and engaging with them on social media. The stories made both the platform’s role and the delivery outcomes easy to recognize. That visibility hadn’t existed before.
Sales teams used the assets to start conversations, re-engage existing deals, and highlight recent wins with clients. The one-sheeters and redesigned layout made it easier to explore and share the full library of work.
The delivery team also began discussing the case studies more often. They reflected on recent projects, aligned on what made a story worth telling, and started identifying strong candidates earlier in the process.

What’s Next: Proof Library Overhaul
After the initial rollout, Quandary expanded the scope. We’re now updating the full case study library (23 assets), retiring outdated examples, and rebuilding the rest to match the new structure.
Internally, the delivery team has revised its approach to case studies. They’re identifying strong candidates earlier in the project lifecycle and beginning to capture baseline data upfront to better demonstrate business impact.
